历史沿革[edit]
明朝时此地属惠安县凤阳铺大潭村。民国时期先后属锦绣乡与锦绣保，中华人民共和国成立后属崇武区；1958年，本村自锦绣生产大队中独立出来，设大淡生产大队；1984年10月定名为大淡村民委员会[2][3]。
文化[edit]
2008年，村庄入选福建省新农村建设百村示范点[1]。2020年12月，被认定为「2020年泉州市中级版绿盈乡村」[2]。2021年11月，本村获福建省爱卫办授予「2021年福建省卫生村」称号[1][2]。
