地理环境[edit]
村子位于县道惠崇路南侧。它离县城约14公里，离镇区2.5公里，离崇武港约10.5公里[1]。东面与鹰园村相邻，西面连接涂寨镇的岩峰村，北面与涂寨镇的曲江村接壤[1][2]。
历史沿革[edit]
明代有曾氏村民辗转迁来，居于山岭中的一处坳地，地形呈马鞍状，故取名「垵崮」，后简化为「垵固」[2][3]。村级建制设立于明朝隆庆年间[2]。
旧时此地归场下铺管辖，属二十七都；民国年间划入崇武区。1958年并入飞跃公社，1961年成为崇武公社下的垵固生产大队。1974年，山霞公社成立，垵固大队随之划入；1984年10月改称垵固村民委员会[2]。
