潮乐村是福建省泉州市惠安县崇武镇下辖的行政村，村落位于崇武古城一带，村名由宋代的水潮庵与明代的乐善堡各取一字合成。[1][2][3]

村名[edit]

宋朝时，此处有水潮庵，庵中供奉当地神明，地名叫「海潮堡」。明朝建城之后，驻军与居民混居于此，庵前聚集的人越来越多，改称「乐善堡」；两名各取一字，连成「潮乐境」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

崇武古称小斗，音谐小兜。宋朝此地建有诚应庙（即建城后的城隍庙）与水潮庵。明洪武二十年（1387年）在小兜寨建城，设守御千户所，称崇武所城。[2]

民国二十三年（1934年），县政府于崇武所城设第二区公所。1939年建镇，镇政府暂设在潮乐的下庵宫。1984年崇武镇政府复设，原大队管理委员会撤销，改组为潮乐村民委员会。[2]

荣誉[edit]

司法部与民政部在2015年3月授予潮乐村「第六批全国民主法治示范村（社区）」称号；2017年11月，中央文明委给予本村「第五届全国文明村镇」称号；2019年12月，村被认定为全国乡村治理示范村。[1]
