地名由来[edit]
据传元代正九年，骆氏村民从东园云头迁来此地。云头的祖厝挂有“玉里传芳”门匾，村名由此而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
元代正九年，此地属惠安县。民国时此地归后港乡的后港保。建国后至1955年，它是惠安县东园区（第五区）的一部分；1956年至1958年8月改属第六区。[1]
1958年9月，此地归上游人民公社的玉群管理区，成为玉埕生产大队。1961年10月张坂人民公社组建，本村仍称玉埕生产大队。1984年10月，它改设玉埕村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
百度百科称，本村以晒盐为主，埕边盐场的产品曾远销海外。[2]
荣誉[edit]
阿里研究院于2020年9月公布的淘宝村名单中有本村；此后，本村又列入「2021年淘宝村」（2021年10月）与「2022年淘宝村」（2022年10月）名单。[1]
2022年12月，玉埕村获评「2022年福建省卫生村」，由福建省爱国卫生运动委员会公布；2024年2月，本村列为「第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇」创建对象。[1]
