村名取自村前的仑下一地，村子建在仑下之前。2022年，本村被命名为「2022年全国示范性老年友好型社区」。[1]

地名由来[edit]

明代中叶，黄氏村民定居于此。村前有一处地名叫仑下，村子建在仑下之前，因而取名仑前。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时属惠安县崇山保，建国后至1958年隶属惠安县崇山区。1958年9月，它归张坂人民公社的崇山生产大队。1962年10月，此地由崇山大队分出，另设仑前大队；1984年10月，仑前大队改设仑前村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2022年10月，本村获评「2022年全国示范性老年友好型社区」。[1]
