后边村属福建省泉州市惠安县张坂镇，是镇下辖的行政村，位于镇区西北约2.5公里处，属镇乡结合区。[1]

村子唐代以来为黄氏聚居地，初名黄田；北宋进士黄宗旦出自此地。村中留有宋代碑刻、宋代黄忠墓和清代黄氏家庙，三处都列为县级文物保护单位。[1][3][4][5]

历史沿革[edit]

村子唐代以来为黄氏聚居之地，原名黄田。五代时，闽帝王延钧于龙启二年驾临黄田，拜谒母后的家庙与祖茔，下诏赐名“锦田”。[2]

明代倭患之后，居民迁往别处；清代康熙年间沿海居民内迁，只留下后山边的几座民房，因而得名后边。[2]

宋太平兴国六年（981年）惠安县设立后，此地属镇安铺。解放初先归第四、第五区，1952年改属第六区。1958年，此地归上游人民公社的张坂管理区；1961年设后边生产大队。1971年改称前进大队，文革结束后恢复为后边大队，1984年改设后边村。[3]

北宋进士黄宗旦，字叔才，百度百科记他生于惠安县镇安铺的黄田，黄田即本村的旧名。[5][2] 惠安县政府的文物公告则写他是张坂镇后边村人。[4]

名胜古迹[edit]

后边“锦谿”碑刻为宋代石刻，后边黄忠墓为宋代古墓葬，后边黄氏家庙为清代古建筑，三者都被列为县级文物保护单位。[2]
