村内保存一座由庄木来于1946年建造的侨厝，另有锦西小学内的「木来室」纪念石碑。马来西亚华裔学者庄以仁的寻根地之一是针茂自然村。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2021年，该村获评惠安县的「军事训练先进单位」，同年共获镇级以上荣誉9项。[1]
