下坂村位于黄塘镇境内，原称霞坂村，1953年土改时更名为下坂村。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期，村地属十七都黄田铺，民国时属民安乡松溪保。1949年冬起，先后归洛阳、黄塘等区乡管辖。1958年起先后属东红公社、黄塘公社，设下坂大队，此后改设下坂村委会。[1][2]

姓氏宗族[edit]

村中以周、郑、施、陈、饶等姓为主，另有少数李姓。[1]

经济[edit]

民国至1958年间，村民以农业和加工米粉为主要收入。20世纪70年代后期，大队组织加工青石舀出口；1981年后青石加工衰落，村中陆续设立石料加工厂、服装厂与鞋厂。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

墓位于运使桥自然村的大岱山上，墓主庄厚毅夫妇合葬于此。庄厚毅于明崇祯三年（1630年）出生，清康熙二十四年（1685年）去世。[1]

文化[edit]

福建省爱卫办于2021年11月评定下坂村为卫生村，称号为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[2]
