亭林村地处黄塘镇南部，三面有山，一面临黄塘溪，距惠安县城约13千米，距镇人民政府约4千米。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村名由「亭」字与姓氏「林」合成。村中林、康两姓，其中林姓人口占四分之三以上，故以亭林为名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

新中国成立后至1958年间，村地属第九区霞殿乡。1958年设东红公社亭林生产大队，此后归黄塘公社，1984年改设黄塘镇亭林村民委员会。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村内分为六个自然村：林厝、康厝、石门碕、苏坑、染厝和内坑。境内有城西大道，泉三高速公路经过，与324国道相连。[2][1]

文化[edit]

2009年，亭林村被评为市级「家园清洁行动」文明村。2020年9月、2021年10月与2022年10月，亭林村先后列入「2020年淘宝村」「2021年淘宝村」「2022年淘宝村」名单。福建省爱卫办于2021年11月评定亭林村为卫生村，称号为「2021年福建省卫生村」。福建省农业农村厅于2022年10月认定亭林村为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]
