碧岭村位于黄塘镇东北部，与螺阳镇、洛阳镇交界，辖白玉店（又名碧殿）与秧岭两个自然村。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期，村地属惠安县古十七都前康铺。民国至新中国成立初，村地隶属洛阳镇公所的杏梅乡；1954年划入黄塘九区群合乡。1958年10月属东红公社，1962年12月改属黄塘公社碧岭大队，1982年自原大队分出，1984年10月改设碧岭村委会。[2]

地名由来[edit]

村名有两种说法：一说取白玉店的「碧」字与秧岭的「岭」字合成；另一说是村中盛产白石，故得名。[2]

文化[edit]

村中奉祀灵安尊王，该神被视为惠安的境主。[1]
