历史沿革[edit]
村中原有美里宫，村名曾称美里、美透，因闽南话“美”与“尾”同音，定名尾透。[1]
明末清初，柯、黄两姓迁居此地，其后曾、陈、蔡、张、汪等姓陆续迁入，统称尾透村。[1]
土地改革时设美里乡，1950年改为尾透大队，此后设尾透村公所，再后改为尾透村委会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2024年1月，尾透村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」，据博雅地名网所载。[1]
