历史沿革[edit]
村中多为侨居者的家族，故于1961年与五音村拆分另建大队时命名为侨群。[1]
旧属十七都前康铺，民国时期归螺城镇的五音保。1949年冬起隶属涂寨二区五音乡。1958年属红旗公社的五音大队，1961年分出另设侨群大队，1985年改设为螺阳乡侨群村委会。[1]

村中出产“古山红”花岗岩。村内辖有4个自然村。[1]
