历史沿革[edit]
村名的来历是：早先吴氏村民定居此地，取名吴宅，不久衰败外迁；此后林、庄等姓迁入，因村中多梧桐树，改称梧宅。[1]
1943年时此地归庄林柄保管辖。新中国成立后，先并入东园五区的锦水乡，之后改由洛阳区统辖。公社时期，先是红旗公社锦水大队的一部分，1961年改隶城关公社；1964年自锦水大队分出，单设梧宅大队，1984年10月起称梧宅村委员会。[1]
村内下辖东村、西村等自然村。[4]
