驿坂村位于涂岭镇南面，是泉港的南大门，毗邻惠安县界；沈海高速公路的出入口之一与国道324线穿过村域。[1][2]

据泉港区政府网2021年所载，村辖九个自然村，设九个村民小组；常住人口约4100人，内含大中型水库移民1460多人。[2]

地名由来[edit]

古时此地是通往福州、泉州的重要驿站，设有驿亭供往来官员歇息。后来曾、黄、林等姓村民相继迁入，居于溪流冲积的坂地，故称驿坂。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时此地是四都驿坂铺，民国划为涂岭乡驿坂保。1949年冬以后，村依次归入七、八、十区，并属驿坂区驿坂乡。[4]

1958年起先后属超先公社，涂岭公社置驿坂大队，同年改设涂岭乡驿坂村委会。[4]

九个自然村是虎窟、塘灶、菱溪新村、酒店、后田角、街尾、北门头、街头与后吴。[5]

村民主要为陈、曾、林三姓，另有少量许、张、章姓。[5]

村内有驿坂小学和驿坂中学两所公办学校。[5]

名胜古迹[edit]

大德桥横跨驿坂溪，为石墩石梁桥，南北走向，残长约23米、宽3.3米、高2米，三孔四墩。[7]

大德桥位于驿坂街西南40米处，博雅地名网列为市级文物保护单位；百度百科称2016年列入泉州市文物保护单位；泉港区政府网2021年所载为区级文物保护单位。[6][7][2]
