汶阳村位于涂岭镇东南部，西与涂岭村相接，东邻世上村，南邻芦朴村，北与清美村相邻。[1]

据泉港区政府网2021年所载，村下辖洋内、后官2个自然村、4个村民小组，共490户1826人。[2]

地名由来[edit]

此处原为泗州溪山一带冲积的沙泥地，山洪一来便成一片汪洋。吴姓村民迁入后沿山坡开辟居所，经修堤治水，开垦出一大片田地，故称汶洋，后雅化为汶阳。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

旧属十一都樟市铺。民国时归涂岭乡大同保。1949年冬至1951年间，此地在七、八区的大同乡；1952年转入十区路打乡。[4]

1956年划归驿坂区涂岭乡，并同年并入超先公社的路打大队；1961年析出，组成涂岭公社汶阳大队；1985年改为汶阳村委会。[4]

经济与教育[edit]

村内耕地800多亩，山地2000多亩，主要农作物有水稻、地瓜、花生。[2]

村内设有涂岭第二中心小学和旭日幼儿园。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年，村入选省级「千村整治、百村示范」美丽乡村试点村。[2]
