世上村位于涂岭镇东北部与镇区之间，东连前黄镇龙田村，西接本镇汶阳村，北与下炉村相邻，南靠蚁山一带的山岭。[1][2]

据泉港区政府网2021年所载，全村分世上、大埔两个自然村，共约433户、1449人；陈姓居民逾1200人。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网所载，村民祖先于1704年自惠安东桥羊西坑村迁来，此后繁衍至十三代，部分村民又迁往枫亭下桥及台湾新竹县。[3]

明清为十一都樟市铺的一部分，民国时在涂岭乡大同保。1949年冬之后，依次隶属七、八、十区的大同乡；1952年改入十区路打乡；1956年划归驿坂区涂岭乡；1958年归超先公社的路打大队。[4]

1969年另设涂岭公社时，此地独立为世上大队；1985年改称涂岭乡世上村委会。[4]

解放前期，村中曾发展地下党支部。博雅地名网载，1986年村被泉州市定为革命老区据点村。[3]

地理[edit]

博雅地名网将村置于涂岭镇西北部，距国道324线约1公里，距通港路约100米；泉港区政府网则称村在镇区以东约2公里处。[3][2]

经济[edit]

村内耕地421亩，山地约1280亩，主要种植水稻、红薯、花生、西瓜、甘蔗、芋头、蔬菜，山地多种龙眼、荔枝及速生林。[2][3]
