下炉村地处涂岭镇东北，北邻界山镇的界山村，东与南埔镇塘头村相接。[1][2]

其所辖自然村有水曲、水蛙窟、埔尾、梧厝、黄山郑与下炉，共六处。据泉港区政府网2021年所载，全村2885人，10个村民小组，党员83人。[2]

地名由来[edit]

据传宋元时，姓厦、姓炉的两族村民迁来定居，以姓氏起名厦卢。后因一族外迁，王姓村民迁入，仍沿用原名，读音演变为「下炉」。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

1981年10月，村民委员会得以设立。[4]

地理与产业[edit]

通港路、国道324线和泉港高速出入口位于村域，村内通港路长1.1公里，国道横穿1.2公里。[5]

村内山地面积约3800亩，耕地917亩，据博雅地名网所载；泉港区政府网2021年所载则为耕地95公顷、林地286公顷。[5][2]

村内以水稻、地瓜、花生、大豆、芋头为主要农作物，山地种植荔枝、龙眼等果树。[5]

名胜古迹[edit]

山头寺位于黄山郑自然村的莲石山，始建于宋景炎三年（1278年），清乾隆三十三年（1768年）经重建后，形成三殿两廊的布局，为市级文物保护单位。[6][7]

林禄墓位于九龙山麓，年代为东晋，为市级文物保护单位。[6] 博雅地名网另称闽林始祖陵在本村，泉港区政府网2021年所载亦列为村内文物；百度百科则称林禄墓在惠安县涂岭九龙岗下。[5][2][8]

庄应祯墓位于玉笏山「玉笏朝天」石北面，年代为明，为市级文物保护单位。[6]

2020年12月，村入选「2020年福建省森林村庄」名单。[1]
