白潼村位于涂岭镇北端，北邻界山镇，南面紧接下炉村，是进出镇北的门户之一。[1][2]

据泉港区政府网2021年所载，全村365户、1500人，党员66人，占地1.98平方千米。[2]

地名由来[edit]

元代，地方武装首领陈潼在古驿道口筑关修寨、驻扎兵营，此处称陈潼关，后简称潼关。村内原有潼关、白水、白水岭、后望四个自然村，后取白水、潼关两村组的首字，定名白潼村。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

旧属十一都添奇铺，民国时为涂岭乡界山保。解放初期几经调整：1949年冬起归七、八区界山乡，1952年划入十一区（南埔），1955年又改归十区（涂岭）界山乡。[4]

1958年曾属超先公社界山大队；1961年另设涂岭公社后，于此置白潼大队；1985年称涂岭乡白潼村委会。[4]

地理与产业[edit]

国道324线在村中穿行2.14公里，福厦高速公路在村内延伸2.98公里。[1][2]

村内耕地420亩，山地1350亩，主要作物为水稻与地瓜，另种花生、大豆与芋头。[2] 村中有龙眼种植近500亩，香蜜杨桃种植近百亩。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年4月，村被认定为「2020年度福建省乡村振兴实绩突出村」。[1]

2022年12月，村获「2022年福建省卫生村」称号，授予方为省爱国卫生运动委员会；同月，村被确定为「2022年度福建省“一村一品”专业村」，主导产业为杨桃。[1]
