坑内村位于前黄镇区北部，坝头溪以北。[1]

村周围有山，村落坐落在一处如坑状的洼地中，村名因此而来。村中有三个自然村，编为七个村民小组；经济以农业为主。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时此地属七都的鼓楼铺；民国时划入锦凤乡，属凤安保。[1]

1949年冬以后，本地先后归属八厝（坝头）、十区与十三区（山腰）的凤安乡；1956年转隶南埔区坝头乡，1958年起分归超先公社与山腰公社的凤安大队。[1]

1981年，坑内由凤安村分出，单独立村；1982年析出为坑内大队；1985年改设山腰乡坑内村委会。1999年8月以后，坑内村委会改由前黄镇管辖。[1]
