郭厝村位于峰尾镇，是泉港区内的少数民族聚居地，居民以回族为主，在全区少数民族聚居的村落中规模居首。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
宋时此村名为荻州，因村前有荻河向南流入东海而得名；东侧依山，山上峰顶形如八瓣莲花，因此又称莲山、莲花。[1][2]
南宋景定五年（1264年），郭霖定居荻州，成为今郭厝郭姓回族的始祖，据宗祠所载。[3]
清代，郭氏先人一度迁离，后返回重建府第，村名遂改为郭厝。[2]
国务院于1986年1月10日批准，郭氏的回族身份得以恢复。[1]

村内有12个自然村，划分为43个村民小组与32个小区。2024年12月发布的村情页载，常住居民19203人，户籍人口15990人。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
泉州郭氏宗祠的中厅立有清代石柱，柱上刻联，说明郭氏源出河南固始。[3]
莲山宫在丁宫一带，始建于清代，现为市级文物。[3]
郭氏家庙位于祠堂后一带，建于清代，属市级文物。[3]
