栖霞社区位于后龙镇区，原是炼化一体化项目拆迁居民的安置小区，2006年设为社区。[1]
沿革[edit]
2004年，炼化一体化项目拆迁，南埔镇的两个村整村搬迁至后龙，另有多个村庄的部分群众同迁，统一安置在此小区，2004年部分居民开始入住。[1]
2006年9月，社区各项组织陆续挂牌，正式定名为后龙镇栖霞社区。[1]

小区内设有农贸市场、区第三实验小学、镇中心幼儿园与社区卫生服务中心。[1]
