玉湖村是界山镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的中部，东与东张村相邻，西面与规划中的镇区接壤。[1]

泉港区政府网2020年11月所载数据：党员97人，村民小组23个，人口3531人。[2]

地名由来[edit]

村名取自陈氏祖居地的丁号“玉湖”。早先此地建有毓英亭，陈氏迁来后居于亭子西侧，曾称东亭。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时属天马乡玉湖保，此后归南埔公社玉湖大队。[1]

1995年划出设玉湖村，1999年更名为界山镇玉湖村委会。[1]

文化教育[edit]

村内设有一所完全中学，玉湖中心小学即为镇中心小学。[1]

荣誉[edit]

福建省爱卫办于2021年11月授予本村「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]

玉湖村在2022年10月经福建省农业农村厅认定，列为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]
