河阳村地处界山镇西北，与莆仙相邻，地形为沿海丘陵，旧称潘厝。[1]

泉港区政府网2020年11月所载数据显示：党员87人，设20个村民小组，人口3407人。[2]

地名由来[edit]

明天启年间（公元1621年），潘氏先人自河南荥阳入闽。为不忘祖居之地，取“河”“阳”二字为村名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清两代属惠安县十一都，所辖有添奇铺、龙峰宫、积善社等。[1]

1951年起属南埔区九峰乡；1961年改称南埔公社河阳大队，1984年由南埔乡的河阳村委会管辖。[1]

1992年改属肖厝镇南埔办事处，1996年划入肖厝经济开发区南埔镇；1999年起称界山镇河阳村委会，2000年起隶属泉州市泉港区界山镇。[1]
