天湖村是福建省泉州市泉港区南埔镇下辖的行政村，位于镇西部，东邻柳厝村，西与塘头村相邻。村委会设在白井自然村，全村下辖5个自然村，村内有天湖岩寺等古迹。[1]

地理交通[edit]

天湖村地势属丘陵。村中有通港路经过，离324国道和福厦高速入口都约2千米，福厦高铁站区也位于本村所在地段。[1]

人口[edit]

全村有五个自然村，依次为白井、打厝、后张尾、埔尾和清厝，白井为主村所在。村内设11个村民小组，共1321户4910人（2021年）。[1]

常住人口中60岁及以上的有636人，青壮年劳动力1556人，外出流动人口504人，主要流向泉州、石狮、厦门，多从事经商与务工。[1]

土地与自然[edit]

全村土地面积约1.3平方千米，耕地1000多亩（水田430亩），山地面积1400多亩，森林覆盖率为95%，生态公益林占222亩。[1]

天湖岩寺[edit]

天湖岩寺位于村内烟墩山的山坳中，烟墩山即明代的烽火台所在。寺庙1990年依传统寺庙建筑设计，现为佛教活动场所，供奉观音、佛祖、弥勒佛和十八罗汉。[1]

区政府网站称寺庙始建于明成化年间（1466年至1487年），20世纪末列为区级第一批文物保护单位。百度百科则记为唐僖宗中和年间（885年）始建，另有明代史籍作宋建隆年间（962年），两说不一。[1][2]

每年农历二月十九、六月十九和九月十九为香期，届时有小型庙会。[1]
