村旁农田一带称曾炉埭，村内主要种植稻谷、花生、地瓜，花蛤、蛏等海产销往外地。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村始祖于元朝末年由仙游古濑迁入。[3]
1985年盐农析分，另设叶厝村委会，属山腰乡人民政府管辖。[1]
