钟厝村是泉港区山腰街道下辖的行政村，位于街道西南端，与惠安县辋川镇接壤，是一个少数民族村。[1]
人口民族[edit]
据百度百科，全村约八成二为畲族。村中钟姓人群的先人在明代迁入，1985年经官方确认，恢复了畲族身份。[4]
2019年12月31日，村被国家民委命名为「中国少数民族特色村寨」。[4]
历史沿革[edit]
村中钟氏先人自安溪迁入。[2]
1936年设立山腰盐场公署，村属钟厝盐务所管辖。1959年山腰盐场改为地方国营，村设钟厝工区管理盐工。1999年政企分开，村划归泉港区山腰镇管理。[3]
2000年12月，经国务院批准，村划归新成立的泉港区管辖。[4]
经济[edit]
盐业是村里的主要产业，此外有石材加工、滩涂养殖与光伏。[4]
