前坂村在虹山乡境内，东面与苏山村相连，西面临南安市乐峰，南面与罗溪镇接壤[1][2]。村落建在大山前面的斜坡上，村名由此而来[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

元朝时此地取名前坂，此前俗称内坂；民国时统称前坂堡[1]。

地理环境[edit]

村域面积约2.1平方千米[1][2]。村内道路多为水泥路面，纵横相通[2]。

经济[edit]

农作物以水稻、甘薯为主，经济作物以茶园为主[2]。

2021年11月，前坂村被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2021年12月，村子被确定为「泉州市2019—2021年度市级一村一品专业村」，主导产业为红心地瓜[1]。

名胜古迹[edit]

村内的水尾富自然保护小区占地约二十亩，以科类名树为多，2001年由洛江区政府命名[2]。
