苏山村位于虹山乡南部，西面与白凤村相接，北边与虹山村相邻[1][2]。村名取自一座山峰，相传这座山原为苏姓所有[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

村名旧称苏山保。1951年曾设苏山乡，合作化时期建有初级社和高级社；1958年称苏山大队，其后于1984年改设苏山村，归虹山乡管辖[1]。

地理环境[edit]

村境多山地，耕地相对较少，西南边与南安市飞云相邻[2]。村中人口约1968人、660户[1]。

经济[edit]

经济以农业为主，主产水稻、甘薯、木薯、甘蔗和芋头，山地上发展了茶园，村中另有茶场、水电站和猪场[1][2]。

2020年12月，苏山村入选「福建省第一批高级版绿盈乡村」[1]。2021年11月，村子获得「2021年福建省卫生村」的命名；2021年12月，列入「泉州市2019—2021年度市级一村一品专业村」，主导产业为红心地瓜[1]。
