白洋村在河市镇中北部，东与山边村为邻，北面与马甲镇新庵村相接，南面紧靠河市村，距镇政府约3公里。[1][2]

1949年初，白灶与官洋合并为一乡，各取一字，合称白洋。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

这一带在清代为晋江县玉泉乡仙溪里的一部分，民国时归大猷乡管辖，白灶为其中的一保。[1][2]

1961年另立大队，因白灶仍为驻地，沿用白洋大队之名，当时辖十二个自然村。[1]

2021年12月，本村获「2021年度福建省森林村庄」称号；同月，因以酱菜加工为主业，本村入选「泉州市2019—2021年度市级一村一品专业村（乡镇）」。2025年11月，本村获「福建省第二批省级乡村振兴示范村」认定。[1]

人口民族[edit]

饮坑陈氏大厝位于本村饮坑自然村46号，属「近现代重要史迹及代表性建筑」，列入「第四次全国文物普查新发现不可移动文物名录（第一批）」。[3]
