河市镇在泉州市洛江区中部，位于洛阳江上游，东邻惠安县，西接南安市，南与双阳街道相连，北与马甲镇为邻。[1]

地名的来历：宋元时期洛阳江涨潮，海水可上溯到这里通航，商人聚集，河滩上渐成集市，后来建起街市，遂称河市。[1][2]

镇内以农业为主，水稻、蔬菜与龙眼是常见的作物，河市槟榔芋是本地的传统特产。明代抗倭将领俞大猷出生于此地。[2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代这一带属晋江县玉泉乡，分爱育里与亲善里管辖。元、明、清三代称河市乡，分别设为四十一都至四十四都。[2]

民国初年，此地与罗溪、马甲、双阳同划为晋江县第四区，区址设河市，又称河市区。抗战期间，因河市人俞大猷的名字，改称大猷乡。[2]

1958年废乡建公社，称河市人民公社；1982年废除公社，恢复乡的名称；1984年更名，成立河市乡。[2]

撤乡建镇的年份，各资料所记不一：百度百科作1991年10月，博雅地名网在基本介绍中作1992年，在历史沿革中又作1993年。[2][3]

文革后期，本镇连同双阳、马甲、罗溪一起划入泉州市，隶属鲤城区。[2]

1997年，鲤城区分设鲤城、丰泽、洛江三区，河市划入洛江区。[2][3]

地理环境[edit]

镇域面积105平方千米，河市溪及其支流流经境内，溪山村一带即有支流穿过。[1][2][8]

区政府网站称全镇共有197个自然村。[1]

泉仙公路、河市至洪濑的公路与河市至洛阳的公路过境。[2]

镇政府的通信地址为霞溪村埔边89号，见区政府网站2025年公布的信息公开指南；博雅地名网与百度百科则称镇政府驻河市村。[4][2][3]

2012年12月，河市镇获评「国家级生态乡镇」，该称号按2010至2011年度评定，授予单位是环境保护部。[2]

据百度百科所载，2019年末全镇户籍人口37851人。区政府网站2022年发布的镇情介绍称，全镇总人口约3.85万人。[3][1]

农业以水稻、蔬菜为主，龙眼是镇内的主要果品之一。[2]

河市槟榔芋俗称过岭芋，博雅地名网引泉州府志所记，明代已经有名。[2]

镇南的霞溪村划在洛江万亩工业区之内，并与双阳街道相接。[9]

镇内企业涉及商贸、手套、服装、食品、电子与陶瓷工艺等行业。[2]

民俗项目俞家棍被博雅地名网列为本镇民俗，是福建省级非物质文化遗产项目，其传习点另被列为泉州市级传习所。[2][7]

博雅地名网还列出「泉州十音铜锣锻制技艺」「泉州妆糕人制作技艺」，以及陈三五娘传说、洛阳桥传说等民俗。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

濠溪桥又名河市桥，位于河市村与霞溪村交界处，为省级文物保护单位。据百度百科，该桥北宋时曾是木梁桥，后被火毁，南宋绍兴年间重建并定名濠溪桥；博雅地名网则记其始建于南宋绍兴年间。[5][6][2]

明隆庆三年（1569），俞大猷出资将桥改建为石梁桥；此后万历年间的知县又加建石梁，清代康熙年间另有重修。现存石桥属梁式桥，长75.5米，宽3.1米。[6]

俞大猷公园建于2003年，为纪念这位明代将领诞辰五百周年而设，占地800余亩。园中立有一座高10.5米的俞大猷持剑像，另有靖国门城楼、陈列馆、玉泉湖、国术馆与四座石牌坊。[7]

2025年12月公示的「第四次全国文物普查新发现不可移动文物名录（第一批）」（区文化体育和旅游局发布）中，河市镇内另有溪山塔墓、溪山慈恩寺元代塔墓、新告顶桥与饮坑陈氏大厝，分别位于溪山村、新告村与白洋村。[10]

据博雅地名网，梧宅古冶铁遗址在下堡村下堡自然村的村部旁，年代属五代至宋，为市级文物保护单位。[2]

著名人物[edit]

俞大猷（1504—1580）为明代抗倭将领，出生于河市。[2][7]
