前垵村位于马甲镇驻地北部约3.1公里处，东接延兴山，西至建兴山下，北邻蔡内村。[1]
村名以地形而定：村落位于建兴山西麓，地势起伏成一道沟谷，“垵”即沟的意思；杜姓居民在沟谷前建屋定居，遂称“前垵”。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
解放前此地属大同保；解放后设前垵乡；公社化时称前垵大队；1984年改为前垵村委会，驻南埔一带。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2020年9月、2021年10月和2022年10月，村落先后列入淘宝村名单。[1]
