祈山村是马甲镇下辖的行政村，全村辖12个自然村，以养殖业为主要产业。[1]

村名的来历是：境内有座骑龙山，俗称骑山；“骑”与“祈”同音，山上又有祈山寺，故称祈山。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年公社化时命名为祈山大队，1984年改设祈山村民委员会，村委会驻新土炉与市头组交界处。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年12月，村落被确定为「泉州市2019-2021年度市级“一村一品”专业村（乡镇）」，主导产业为生猪；2022年10月，入选淘宝村名单。[1]
