杏川村位于马甲镇西部，靠近镇区，南距镇区一公里多，村辖三个自然村。[1][2]

村名来历是：早年村中有一棵杏树，村民便在树旁建屋定居。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1959年拆分出杏川大队，1984年由大队改为村委会。[1]

文化[edit]

村中有蔡祠庙、马甲宫和一口古井。据博雅地名网所载，蔡祠庙为唐代遗留。[2]

「七七抗战阵亡将士碑」立于村东头马甲宫旁，建于民国，为市级文物保护单位。[1]

经济[edit]

村民以农业为主，龙眼、茶果为辅，针织加工是主要收入来源。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2020年11月，村落被授予第六届全国文明村镇称号；2022年10月，入选第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇；同年12月，被命名为2022年福建省卫生村；2021年10月与2022年10月，两次列入淘宝村名单。[1]
