双合村位于罗溪镇北部，地处兴泉交界处，东至洪四村，西至广桥村，南至钟山村，北面与仙游县相接。[2]

村庄原由洪四、钟山两村的一部分合并析出，取名双合。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期此地属四十七都，民国时归虹山乡西岭保，解放初为第一区钟山乡。[1][2]

1958年成立罗溪公社双合大队，1971年改属泉州市罗溪公社，1984年设泉州市罗溪乡双合村委会，后称罗溪镇双合村，村委会驻西岭村。[1][2]

荣誉[edit]

2022年12月，村庄由福建省爱国卫生运动委员会命名为2022年福建省卫生村。[1]
