广桥村位于罗溪镇北部，东面隔钟石山与双合村相连，西面与虹山乡毗邻，北面与仙游县交界，离镇区约13公里。[2]

村名源于村中的龙潭拱桥，当地俗称拱桥，「拱」与「广」在方言中谐音，遂以桥名为村名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期此地属四十七都，民国时隶大罗溪钟山保，解放初为第一区钟山乡，1958年改设罗溪公社下的钟山大队。[1][2]

1977年析出溪尾等自然村，又从虹山大队划入广桥、百二亩两个自然村，合组为广桥大队。此大队于1984年变为罗溪乡的广桥村，此后又称罗溪镇广桥村。[1][2]

名胜古迹[edit]

龙潭拱桥的起建在南宋淳熙八年（1181年），此后于康熙年间迁往今址重建，乾隆与光绪年间各修一次。桥为单孔拱形石桥，石块相互咬合，是闽南少见的拱式石桥，1992年被纳入泉州市第三批文物保护名录。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2020年12月，村庄入选泉州市2020年度中级版「绿盈乡村」名单。2021年11月，村庄获得2021年福建省卫生村的命名。2024年6月，村庄入选福建省第四批高级版「绿盈乡村」名单。[1]
