永生村在罗溪镇的东侧，与东方村接壤，同柏山村相邻，南面与翁山村以溪相隔，北面临近八峰山脉。[2]

村名寓意长久兴旺、生生不息。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

此地原为翁山村的一个管辖点。1958年并入罗溪公社翁山大队，1969年起改由泉州市罗溪公社管理，1984年成为罗溪乡翁山村的一部分。[1][2]

1989年经上级批准，把翁山村的一个管辖点分出设立永生村，1990年设永生村委会。[2]

经济[edit]

村内以牙签、钢丝球和石料加工为特色产业。[2]

建筑[edit]

村中现存闽南风格的百年古大厝九座，另有社公宫、三峰坛宫、夫灵宫等庙宇。[2]
