翁山村位于罗溪镇东南部，村域东侧与东方村比邻，西侧接三合村，南边则与马甲镇的义山村相挨。[2]

村名取自玉叶山西北麓的一座小山：山上巨石倒悬，远望如同戴笠的老翁席地而坐。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期此地属四十七都，民国时隶大罗溪乡翁山保，解放初设第一区翁山乡。[1][2]

1958年成为罗溪公社的翁山大队；1969年改属泉州市罗溪公社；1984年称泉州市罗溪乡翁山村，其后又叫罗溪镇翁山村。[1][2]

名胜古迹[edit]

云角寺始建于明永乐十九年（1421年），寺址位于村中。[2]

经济[edit]

2021年与2022年，翁山村两度入选淘宝村名单。2021年11月，村庄获得2021年福建省卫生村的命名。2021年6月，村庄进入第四批福建省级传统村落的名单。[1]

2024年10月，村庄获评泉州市2023年度市级「一村一品」专业村，主导产业为紫玉淮山。[1]
