罗溪镇位于泉州市洛江区北部，属洛江区的建制镇，镇域东南侧有翁山溪、前溪两条溪流环绕。[1]

早先此地叫大芦溪，溪边长满芦苇，当地话说成大罗溪；明代初年黄氏先人迁来垦殖，便把镇名定为罗溪。[1]

农田主要种水稻、红薯与小麦，龙眼是本地的主要果品，传统手工产品有铜锣。据博雅地名网所载，全镇面积约126平方千米，未注统计年份。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

宋朝时这里归晋江县玉泉乡常建里管辖，元、明、清则归晋江县四十七都。[1]

1940年，当地设立罗溪乡，隶晋江县第四区；至1944年又划入山顶乡。[1]

解放后，罗溪先归晋江县第一区；1971年改隶泉州市，同年组建罗溪人民公社。1984年公社改为乡，称罗溪乡；1989年由乡改镇。[1]

2011年4月，环境保护部授予「国家级生态乡镇」称号。阿里研究院在2020年9月、2021年10月和2022年10月先后公布「淘宝镇」名单，罗溪镇三次入选。[1]

2020年12月，福建省爱卫办把本镇命名为「福建省卫生乡镇」。[1]

地理环境[edit]

翁山溪和前溪的源头在玉叶山，两溪绕过镇域东南。[1]

经济[edit]

种植以水稻、红薯、小麦为主，龙眼是本地的主要果品。传统手工产品有铜锣，其锻制技艺名为「泉州十音铜锣锻制技艺」。[1]

文化[edit]

当地民俗项目，据博雅地名网列举，有俞家棍、「泉州妆糕人制作技艺」、陈三五娘传说与洛阳桥传说。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

龟峰岩建筑群坐落于双溪村的龟峰山南侧。最早建于北宋开宝年间（968—976年），原称莲花庵；明永乐年间增建，成盟心堂、文庙、武庙三庙并列的格局。现存多为清代与民国年间的建筑。2013年被认定为福建省文物保护单位。[1][2]

双溪村东头崎的黄氏大宗祠，即「晋南永游击大队攻打国民党大罗溪乡公所战斗旧址」。1949年6月下旬，晋南永游击大队的林萱大队长带百余人分兵两路向大罗溪进发，进攻驻守在双溪的国民党乡公所。[1]

前溪村下官路一带的金谿黄氏大宗祠，年代自明代延续至近现代，为市级文物保护单位。[1]

双溪村新土楼自然村以南有黄纪堂墓，属清代墓葬，列为市级文物保护单位。双溪村的黄井后另有清代的庆丰厝，同为市级文保。[1]

洪四村的洪四影剧院，年代定为1968年，属近现代重要史迹与代表性建筑，列为市级文物保护单位。[1]
