新峰社区是双阳街道下辖的社区，位于街道东南部，距街道办事处约0.8公里，属惠女水库库区[1]。社区下分新村、梧峰坡两个居民小组，社区名由“新”“峰”二字取为村名[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1958年因修建惠女水库，外地迁来的村民在此建立安置新村，遂以“新村”为名[1]。华侨农场改制建镇后，从原管理区中划出，设立新峰村民委员会[1]。2005年，新峰村改设社区居民委员会[2]。
