南山社区是双阳街道下辖的社区，陈军门墓位于社区北部的陈厝山半山坡上[1]。社区名称一说因南面有清源山而世称“南山”，另一说因处在双阳之南、地多山而得名[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期这里多数村庄归晋江县四十一都，少数归四十都。民国时属晋江县河市区，解放初为晋江县三区的一部分，之后并入耕作区[2]。1960年双阳建场之后，此处才改称南山管区，1962年接收归侨时仍用此名，1998年改设南山社区[2]。

名胜古迹[edit]

社区旧南山小组一带仍保存三座闽南风格的古大厝[2]。

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，社区被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生社区」[1]。
