阳山社区是双阳街道下辖的社区，位于街道办事处所在的中心地带[1]。社区名称取自早年村民居住在大、小阳山山麓的情况[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期这里属晋江县四十一都，民国时期属晋江县河市区。解放初属晋江县三区团结乡，后并入耕作区[1]。1960年国家设立国营双阳华侨农场，安置印尼归国华侨，此地划为阳山管理区；1998年农场改制，成立阳山居委会，后改为阳山社区[1]。

社区概况[edit]

社区辖吕埔、祥光物业小区和阳山三个居民区[1]，是归侨、侨眷较为集中的居住地[2]。
