琯头社区属洛江区万安街道，位于洛阳江畔的晋江与惠安交界处，离泉州古城东门约10公里，紧邻国道324线。[1][3]

地名[edit]

地名相传源于宋代祖先在朝为官，“官”字左边加上“王”旁，写作“琯”。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年，琯头村归入泉州市东海人民公社；1961年转属泉州市城东公社，同年东园、下窗两个郭氏自然村并入，合为琯头大队。1996年，鲤城区政府同意琯头村重新定为回族村；1997年洛江区设立后，原回族村撤销，改为琯头社区居委会。2013年，社区迁至知青楼。[1][2][3]
