杏宅社区是福建省泉州市洛江区万安街道下辖的社区，是街道辖区内第三大的行政社区，北靠洛阳江，东邻国道324线，西邻泉厦高速，距泉州市区约8公里。社区为郭氏回族聚居地。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

地名因早年村民屋宅周围多植杏树而来。[1] 明代中叶，此地曾叫王宅，解放前改称杏宅。五十年代以后这里一度组成新生大队，改革开放时又称杏宅村，2003年起设立杏宅社区居民委员会。[1][3][4]

姓氏与人物[edit]

郭氏先祖郭孟良原为浙江富阳人，元末来泉州任盐司提举，因战乱无法回朝，便举家定居泉州，其五世祖在杏宅开基。[2][3]十世祖郭承汾为明崇祯壬午年进士，墓在大舍公山，已申报市级文物保护单位。[2][3]

建筑[edit]

社区内的郭氏家庙建于明代中期，面积700平方米，采用闽南三落二井双护厝的格局，已申报市级文物保护单位。[1][3]
