见龙亭社区位于泉州市区西北部，东邻泉州动车站，2015年9月成立，是以住宅小区为主的社区，下辖见龙亭小区与中润嘉园小区。[1][2][3]

地名由来[edit]

据传有人经过此地，见四龙腾空，于是在这里建了一座石亭，名为见龙亭。此后地方开发为居民区，便称见龙亭小区。[2]

居住与设施[edit]

社区内有居民住宅楼56栋，设8个居民小组。常住人口逾6000人，另有流动人口两千余人。[1]

「党建+」邻里中心2023年12月验收合格，由社区居委会和街道文化站共同建成，建筑面积约950平方米。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年12月，社区列入「2024年福建省儿童友好社区」名单。[2]

社区曾获「2020年度全国综合减灾示范社区」称号。[3]
