群峰社区位于北峰街道北端，东与群山、群石两社区相邻，西接泉州数字经济产业园，北与洪濑镇的四都相近，2003年成立。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

社区靠近双阳山脉，辖区内山峰成群，故名群峰。[2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

清代此地属晋江县三十九都，民国时归晋江县西北镇。新中国成立初期隶属南台区群石乡，1958年成为北峰人民公社的群峰大队。[2]

1962年自群石大队分出，1984年改设北峰乡群峰村委会，2003年村改社区。[2]

荣誉[edit]

社区的「党建+」邻里中心被评为泉州市三星级「党建+」邻里中心。泉州市纪委监委对基层小微权力监督平台作星级评定，2023年度该社区获评四星。[1]
