拒洪社区在泉州朝天门北面，靠着清源山麓，临近西湖公园，2003年由村改社区。[2][4]

历史沿革[edit]

清代，此地属晋江县三十九都下的福安铺；民国时归晋江县西北镇的福清保。[2][4]

新中国成立初期，它隶属南台区的拒洪乡。1958年并入北峰人民公社，成为拒洪大队；1984年改设北峰乡拒洪村委会，2003年村改社区。[2][4]

地名由来[edit]

因地势偏低，常受洪水侵袭，新中国成立后修筑堤坝防洪，故有此名。[2][4]

现状[edit]

社区辖13个居民小组。所辖自然村有四个，依次为潭美、马加坡、田奄、后厝。[1][3]

社区范围内，中国闽台缘博物馆与泉州市博物馆均有分布，南建筑博物馆也在其中。[1][5][6]

荣誉与景观[edit]

福建省爱国卫生运动委员会于2022年12月授予「2022年福建省卫生社区」称号，授予对象即拒洪社区。[2]

社区附近的景点中，西湖公园与倒松古树较为突出。[4]
