北峰街道是福建省泉州市丰泽区下辖的街道，位于泉州市区西北部，清源山南麓，西湖之滨，东与清源街道相邻，南隔江与鲤城区相望。街道现辖13个社区，其中多数由村改制而来。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

北峰街道的前身是北峰镇。1958年10月设立北峰公社，2003年3月北峰镇改制为北峰街道。[1]

据博雅地名网所载，1999年8月曾有9个行政村析出，划归清源街道办事处管辖。该网站的概况页仍列出11个社区，本条目采用其街道页及区政府各社区基本信息页所列的13个社区。[2][3]

街道因地处泉州城北郊、境内多山峰而得名。[1][2]

地理与人口[edit]

辖区面积的说法不一：博雅地名网记为19.35平方千米，百度百科记为28.1平方千米，两者均未注明统计年份。[1][2]

百度百科载，2010年末街道总人口为73194人。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

开元寺祖师墓塔位于招丰社区，为元代至元年间开元寺开山住持妙恩禅师所建的历代祖师墓塔，墓园呈马蹄形布局。1992年，它被纳入泉州市文保单位第三批名录；2009年，福建省政府又将其公布为第七批省级文保单位。[5][6]

吴桂生墓是民国时期的古墓葬，位于招丰社区石坑村东北的山垄中，为市级文物保护单位。[2][4][6]

同在泉州市市、县级文物保护单位名录中、列于北峰镇辖地的还有：福清寺（清代古建筑，石坑村东）、温革墓（宋代古墓葬，石坑村北石角山北麓）、陈庆镛墓（清代）、庄夏墓（南宋）以及陈碧峰旧居（民国，北峰村）。[4]

拒洪社区内设有中国闽台缘博物馆和泉州市博物馆。前者2006年5月对外开放，为国家一级博物馆；后者成立于1985年1月，2005年1月竣工开馆。[7][8][9]
