法石社区位于泉州湾畔疏港路中段，早先俗称「石头街」，是泉州市丰泽区的一个社区。2025年划归临海街道，此前一直属东海街道。[3][5][6]

社区于2003年4月由法石村改设[5]，辖区面积约3平方千米，内有真武庙、海印寺、文兴宫等古庙，以及「文兴渡」「美山渡」等海丝古渡头遗迹。[1][4]

历史沿革[edit]

百度百科记载，唐宋时此地隶属晋江乡临江里；明代又称石头街；2003年村庄改为社区。[5]

地名以建在石头山下而得，博雅地名网即据此解释名称的来历。[3]

2002年，法石被定为「福建省历史文化村」；2005年，获评「泉州市十佳魅力乡村」。[2]

人口与行政[edit]

2021年的统计中，社区居民小组为11个，另有长美、锦井两个新村，安置小区4个；当年常住人口6790人，外来流动的人口则在四千五百人上下。[1]

丰泽区政府2026年1月公布的资料把社区分为4个自然村。另有驻区单位14家，流动人口5125人；住户3992户，常住人口为2611户，合计7409人。党委下辖5个党支部。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

辖区内的文物保护单位共8处，其中有美山宫、长春宫、文兴宫、海印寺和真武庙，分属国家级与省、市级。[1]

「文兴渡」与「美山渡」是「海丝」古渡头遗迹，曾被列为泉州「海丝文化、泉州史迹」江口片项目申报世界遗产的备考点之一。[1]

荣誉[edit]

1996年，社区被福建省委、省政府评为「福建省文明村」；2022年，获「福建省第七次全国人口普查突出贡献集体」称号。[2]
