浔美社区是福建省泉州市丰泽区城东街道下辖的社区，位于街道中部，临近浔江，辖区面积近3平方千米。[1][2]社区由浔美村改设，2003年4月完成村改社区，目前是一个混合型社区。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

地名取自明初称呼的浔江：因泥沙长期淤积，江边形成滩地，滩地之外即是大海，地处海的边缘，方言称“尽尾”。[2][4]据博雅地名网，此地唐宋时已有开发。[3]清代隶属三十七都渡头铺。[3]1956年隶属东星乡；1958年起归东海公社管辖，1961年划入城东公社，1984年建为城东乡浔美村委会，其后于2003年4月转为社区，设浔美社区居委会。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

浔美万氏家庙及碑刻为清代古建筑，属市级文物保护单位。[2]社区现存唐代以来的古建筑十余座，除万氏家庙外，另有檀樾祠同为市级文保单位；美山青莲寺据载建于宋代。[4]

著名人物[edit]

万廷璧（1866－1943），名马来，字征君，浔美社区人。早年曾在外地谋生，1893年在广州结识孙中山，两人交往密切；次年他赴日本神户经商。[2]

人口与社会[edit]

据2025年12月丰泽区人民政府公布的情况，社区有13个居民小组，常住2523户、6365人，流动人口一万多人。[1]社区居住区方面，有美仙山花苑一期和东莲花苑两个高层小区，此外还有浔美旧村和丰泽区高新产业园区（一期）。[1]社区党委于2009年6月由党支部升格，下辖4个党支部，现有党员155名。[1]
