霞美社区是福建省泉州市丰泽区城东街道下辖的社区，位于街道中部，北接原国道324线，南临东星社区。[1][2]社区由旧村改设，2003年4月转为社区，辖区面积约1.2平方千米。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

社区旧称“龙尾”，因形似龙尾而得名，后改称“下尾”，再因方言读音的近似而写作“霞美”。[2][4]明代末年，蔡、白、陈三姓先后迁来开垦，聚居成村，至今已有三百多年。[3]

1958年划入东海公社，设霞美大队，1961年改属城东公社。[2]1984年，城东乡的霞美村委会成立；2003年4月18日，此地转为社区。[2][3]

地理环境[edit]

霞美地处街道中部，南面与东星社区相邻，东面连接浔美工业聚集区，西面与泉州火车站机务段毗邻。[3]

建筑与文化[edit]

境内留存明清时期闽南风格的古民居十余座，按闽南民居“皇宫式”的格局建成，有五开间和三开间两种。[3]八九十年代，泉州啤酒厂与泉州火车站先后落成于社区境内，交通条件随之改善。[3][4]

据2025年12月丰泽区人民政府公布的情况，社区有户籍人口1919人、501户，设7个居民小组和19个网格，驻社区单位有泉州工商旅游学校和泉州第五中心小学。[1]
